Portable CCTV Monitor Video Transcription
Welcome to CCTV Camera Pros video product review. In this product review, we will feature our four inch portable CCTV test monitor which is used by installers while mounting and focusing CCTV cameras in the field. This product makes it very convenient for one installer to mount and focus a camera without the need of a second installer watching a monitor. On our test bench, we have all of the parts that come inside the box of this product along with an security camera that we will test with. You can see here that the monitor comes in a leather case with two arm straps.
The top of the monitor has the BNC video inputs for video and RCA for audio.
Here we setup the sun visor, which helps with outdoor camera testing by protecting the screen from sunlight glare.
The power supply that is included is used to charge the rechargeable batteries that are already installed in the service monitor.
A carrying strap is also included so that this portable monitor can be slung over your shoulder. The strap attaches to the loops on the sides of the carrying case.
We will now connect the camera to the test monitor for a video test.
The installer connects the video output of a CCTV camera to the BNC input of the service monitor, then switches the monitor power on.
In a few seconds the video out put from our camera will appear on the 4.2 inch screen.
You can see here the the display quality on the monitor is excellent and responds in real time.
Here we demonstrate mounting the test monitor to our installers forearm.
We hope that you have found this product demonstration helpful. If you have any questions about this service and test monitor or any product related to video surveillance and CCTV cameras, please contact CCTV Camera Pros by visiting our website at www.cctvcamerapros.com.
Thank You for watching.
