CCTV Service Monitor Video Transcription

Welcome to CCTV Camera Pros video product review.  In this product review, we will feature our 3.5 inch CCTV service monitor which is used by installers while mounting and focusing security cameras in the field.  This portable test monitor makes it very convenient for one installer to mount and focus a camera without the need of a second installer watching a monitor.  On our test bench, we have all of the parts that come inside the box of this product.  We also have a dome security camera on our bench that we will test with.  You can see here that monitor comes with an elastic and Velcro arm strap that allows you to easily mount the monitor to your arm.

A video input and output cable is supplied that plugs into the monitor on it’s side.

Audio cables are also included for audio microphone testing.

A power supply is included with the monitor which is used to recharge the 4 AA batteries already installed inside the monitor or to power the monitor directly.

A printed manual is included inside the box as well as a wall mount bracket that can screw into the bottom of the monitor.

We will now connect our dome camera to the service monitor for a video test.

The installer connects the video output of a CCTV camera to the BNC input of the service monitor, then switches the monitor power on.

In a few seconds the video out put from our camera appears on the 3.5 inch screen.

You can see here the the display quality on the monitor is excellent and responds in real time.

We hope that you have found this product demonstration helpful.  If you have any questions about this CCTV service monitor or any product related to video surveillance systems, please contact CCTV Camera Pros by visiting our website at www.cctvcamerapros.com.
